Operator 2026-10-01: prefer the SharePoint way, InfoPath / XML forms. SPICE forms already are an XML model + XSL view (FormView.xslt over the content type). Missing: the template as a unit (InfoPath .xsn = manifest.xsf + myschema.xsd + view XSLs + template.xml), nested/repeating sections from an XSD, declared field rules, connector-fed defaults, and submit-as-XML-document with property promotion.
